a SCAD senior thesis documentary I worked on about the revolutionary rebirth of ancient bread-making in Italy.

Rinascita is a story about grains and the revolutionary rebirth of ancient bread making in Italy. "However, underneath the main story we talk about the fight for fair wages amongst farmers and bakers as well as the health benefits of the new loaf."
"As farmland continues to be damaged each year, a new wave of Italian bakers have adapted Ancient grains to revolutionize bread-making in Italy in order to bring back the culture and community of bread and the rebirth of soil health."
The creators of Rinascita wanted to showcase these ancient themes throughout the branding of the documentary as well. After I was briefed on certain concepts, i.e., "vintage post cards," "ancient grains, and "wheat sprouting," I started my design exploration and motion tests.
